Release Day!

I've been busy working on new designs and I'm very excited to finally share my 3 new cross stitch pattern releases.
My love of nature was the inspiration for this design.
A great motto to live by too, "Live Simply".
Stitched on 32ct Aged Saffron linen by Dames of the Needle.  I went old school on this one...it's stitched completely in DMC.  Stitch Count: 109 x 97.

I love to decorate the house in everything Patriotic for the Summer. Flags, bunting, you name it.  "American Eagle" will be the perfect addition to any patriotic display. Stitched on 36ct Vtg Pecan Butter by Lakeside Linens using GA Blackboard and CC Cherry Cobbler.
Stitch Count: 131 x 62.

And finally, "American Bloom".  I wanted to design something that was not your typical patriotic stitch.  This design is finished to be an insert for a #2 LeHay's Shaker Carrier.  I designed "Bittersweet October" insert in 2016 and wanted to be able to change it out with something new.
Stitched on 30ct Tin Roof by Weeks Dye Works. Floss is GA - Aged Pewter, Brethren Blue, Country Redwood, CC- Little House Brown and DMC 3371. Stitch Count: 60 x 33.

These new designs are available in my Etsy Shop and are on there way to my distributor. Thanks so much for stopping by and wishing you all a wonderful Spring weekend.

Summer Leaf

I ended up finishing my punchneedle leaf into a needlebook. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I added a little brown bone ring on the end...just because:)

It has wool patches on the inside to hold needles.....

I'm also working on another punched piece.  A swirly heart and thinkingit will be nice as a ditty bag.  I just got some wonderful new fabrics and love mixing and matching them together.

I'll be back to show your the finish soon.
Happy Creating, my friends.

A Little More Punching

Blues and greens were my colors of choice for this new piece. I drew this up yesterday and started punching.  It went pretty quick and I was finished this afternoon.
Loving a lazy Saturday to play with threads.

Finishing will be another day, but I'm thinking this would make a sweet little needlebook too.
Hopefully, it will work out the way I'm imagining it.

Finishing Day

Today I decided to work on a piece I stitched a few years ago and never got around to finishing......bad, bad me.  It seems when I have personal stitches, I can at times, just slip them away in a drawer for finishing another time.  Life is very busy and they sometimes get forgotten.
This piece has crept into my mind lately and I marked this day to finally get it done.
 I'm so glad I did :)

This is by the designer The Pinkeep called "Faded Past".  It came as a kit but I ended up using my  own fabrics for the inside and did my own thing.

I'm feeling accomplished that another piece of stitching is out of the drawer and all done.
I will enjoy using this sweet prim needleroll and displaying when not in use.

Happy stitching and smiles,
~Nan

Playin' & Punchin'

Lots of playing around here the last few days with drawings, fabrics and threads.
Not sure how this one will be finished, but I'm happy this little "Queen of Hearts" came out as I had hoped.

Hope your day is full of creativity!

****Exciting News****

I'm very excited to share with you, my very first release of a punchneedle design.
Lately, I've been punching more and I'm really enjoying it.  With the encouragement from friends and other stitchers, I've decided to release one of the pieces I have recently created.

"STRAWBERRY NEEDLEBOOK"  pattern, includes the weaver's cloth, step by step directions for punching this design, along with detailed instructions and extra photos for finishing this into a needlebook.

This is now available through my Etsy Shop.

I want to thank you for all your support and encouragement with pursuing punchneedle designs. You keep me inspired.
