<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I've been busy working on new designs and I'm very excited to finally share my 3 new cross stitch pattern releases.</span></div>
<span style="text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">My love of nature was the inspiration for this design. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">A great motto to live by too, "Live Simply".</span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: start;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Stitched on 32ct Aged Saffron linen by Dames of the Needle. I went old school on this one...it's stitched completely in DMC. </span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Stitch Count: 109 x 97.</span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; text-align: center;"> </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="933" data-original-width="700" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZH76h72qjWM/WvXdXivzCAI/AAAAAAAAFpQ/U4l7hRIZZSwPzO3b0RCUYF2oE8usAOJwgCLcBGAs/s400/Live%2BSimply%2BTM.jpg" width="300" /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: center;">
I love to decorate the house in everything Patriotic for the Summer. Flags, bunting, you name it. "American Eagle" will be the perfect addition to any patriotic display. Stitched on 36ct Vtg Pecan Butter by Lakeside Linens using GA Blackboard and CC Cherry Cobbler.</div>
<div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: center;">
Stitch Count: 131 x 62.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="525" data-original-width="700" height="300" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oGSopILW-Dk/WvXeA0TjviI/AAAAAAAAFpY/5sj9xiaNalQjqR7uTcTDxcw2_pe4JlngACLcBGAs/s400/American%2BEagle%2BTM.jpg" width="400" /></div>
<div style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
And finally, "American Bloom". I wanted to design something that was not your typical patriotic stitch. This design is finished to be an insert for a #2 LeHay's Shaker Carrier. I designed "Bittersweet October" insert in 2016 and wanted to be able to change it out with something new.</div>
</div>
<div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; text-align: start;">Blues and greens were my colors of choice for this new piece. I drew this up yesterday and started punching. It went pretty quick and I was finished this afternoon.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; text-align: start;">Loving a lazy Saturday to play with threads.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I decided to work on a piece I stitched a few years ago and never got around to finishing......bad, bad me. It seems when I have personal stitches, I can at times, just slip them away in a drawer for finishing another time. Life is very busy and they sometimes get forgotten.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This piece has crept into my mind lately and I marked this day to finally get it done.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> I'm so glad I did :)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is by the designer The Pinkeep called "Faded Past". </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It came as a kit but I ended up using my own fabrics for the inside and did my own thing.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">In between designing, I've been stitching a sampler. I was just able to obtain the kit for this and began it the minute it arrived. I just finished the last stitch on it the other day and I have to say I am completely smitten with her. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">It's a beautiful reproduction sampler by <a href="http://posycollection.weebly.com/">The Posy Collection</a> that is part of the Historic Deerfield Museum. Permelia Allen was only 10 years old when she stitched the original.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Makes you smile, doesn't it?</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I reached out to Posy Lough this morning and I am happy to say this kit is STILL available through the museum. The kit includes the chart and DMC threads. I decided to use overdyed threads when stitching mine.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Here is the email I got from Posy with all the info to obtain a kit, in case any of you are interested.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
Nan,</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
Again, thank you so much for following through on the interest in the Permelia Allen Sampler.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
I had a wonderful talk with Tina Harding, the Museum Shop Buyer and Manager , who is delighted that there is an interest in the kit.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
It will benefit the museum so much and she has stock for those who are ready to stitch!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
Call the Historic Deerfield Museum Shop at 413-775-7170 and ask for PC- 216 Permelia Allen Sampler Kit (not available as a chart only) It is $24.95 plus shipping- when orders are placed they will give the shipping.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">
It isn’t on their website so I am attaching the kit front.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 16px;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I have such a love for early coverlets. I think the designs used were so beautiful and artistic. I came across an American coverlet that I fell in love with and decided to use it as the inspiration for this design. I chose the name....</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">I've stitched this on a beautiful piece of 32ct Vintage Cedar Plank by Lakeside Linens using one color, WDW Flatfish and created a pinkeep.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">It's a nice finished size of approx. 5" x 7". I think this would look lovely and fit quite nicely in a store bought frame.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I'm so happy to finally show you my latest design. This one was truly fun to create</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">and I really loved mixing in a bit of wool on this.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><i>"Merry & Bright"</i></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M2Ox5stGfN8/WCXDNePFKOI/AAAAAAAAFhU/x_VpCfbgtjEgXFeC7XjqvTo7seGhOIrDwCLcB/s1600/Merry%2B%2526%2BBright%2BTM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M2Ox5stGfN8/WCXDNePFKOI/AAAAAAAAFhU/x_VpCfbgtjEgXFeC7XjqvTo7seGhOIrDwCLcB/s400/Merry%2B%2526%2BBright%2BTM.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">The model was stitched one over two linen strands on 32ct Dirty Ewe linen by <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/DamesoftheNeedle">Dames of the Needle</a> with Classic Colorworks Belle Soie Red Fox. I love the variation the silk gives and it's so wonderful to stitch with. The wool trees were a breeze to stitch on and a template is provided with the pattern. I purchased the wool from <a href="http://themerryhookerwoolens.com/wool/hand-dyed-wool">The Merry Hooker</a>. The color is called Pepperberry and matched the Red Fox silk perfectly.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I did a simple trim around the edge with a matching red yarn.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Stitch Count 107 x 108.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Finally, I want to thank my dear friend Cindy Ruckman Cabrey for stitching the model. Every stitch is always beautiful.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">This will be available in shops very soon and will also listed in my </span><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/threadworkprimitives" style="color: #b45f06; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-decoration: none;">Etsy shop</a><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> </span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">for your convenience.</span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Thank you very much my fellow stitchers for all your continued support.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">Worked away on this finish today...I purchased an old box just right for this piece. Theresa Meloon</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"> of <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/DulaneyWoodsTreasure">Dulaney Woods Treasures </a>originally did this finish for her new release "All Hallows Eve" and I loved it so much I had to copy the idea for my piece. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I started out making a box cushion finish.......</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">Here is the tutorial I used as a refresher course...figuring out the depth is key</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk6tgiPhRyU">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk6tgiPhRyU</a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-abDkxh0t-6w/WAFqrgfhyyI/AAAAAAAAFf0/6eiKFHVKyRE-eihZuUyukfqrmZyjIRduQCLcB/s1600/20161014_105717.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-abDkxh0t-6w/WAFqrgfhyyI/AAAAAAAAFf0/6eiKFHVKyRE-eihZuUyukfqrmZyjIRduQCLcB/s400/20161014_105717.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">made sure it fit well inside the box.......</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bokw17v2oE0/WAFq7HUjy4I/AAAAAAAAFf4/vgD8hm-kwiMa6qZKmKZhkMP8ZzyqFGh9wCLcB/s1600/20161014_105753.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bokw17v2oE0/WAFq7HUjy4I/AAAAAAAAFf4/vgD8hm-kwiMa6qZKmKZhkMP8ZzyqFGh9wCLcB/s400/20161014_105753.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I felt more comfortable making a box cushion first and sewing the cross stitched piece to it once it was stuffed, rather than using my stitched piece for the actual box finish. I haven't done this finish much and I didn't want to risk ruining my stitching...I'm sure you all can understand that...lol</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I stuffed it firmly with wood shavings before sewing the stitched design on top of it.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">It fit firmly inside my old box and I then cut some zig zag orange wool to finish it off. Oh, I just love how it turned out...and look at this wonderful new linen color, Aged Saffron, by Dames of the Needle.....it is so prim.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I have to thank Theresa for this finishing idea. I will cherish this piece as Tee, as I call her, is a very dear friend of mine. She has just begun to design and I am very proud of her and one of her biggest fans.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
