Huswif Finish

Yep, I finally have a finish to show you.
I know....seems like forever.
I stitched a little berry design and when
I was done it said to me, "make me a huswif".
My stitches usually talk to me and tell me
what they'd like to become and I usually
listen :D
It was of course, right and I am quite pleased
with how it finished up.
So pleased I made two.  One to keep
and one to sell on TDIPT next week on the
night of the 14th.  It amazes me
how fast my TDIPT postings come around.

We also had a Spring Swap over at a wonderful
group I belong to called Samplermakers.
We answered a small questionnaire and then
we were matched up with a swap partner.
My Samplermaker sister, Jill, got me
and here's a picture of the goodies
I got in the mail the other day.
I love old sewing notions.  Jill put together
a wonderful grouping along with some
R&R linen, which I love.
This was so much fun and I just want to
thank Jill for all my sweet notions.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
and a very Happy Easter.

So pretty, your huswif. I wish my stitched pieces talked a little louder. I will have to tell them to speak up.

Beautiful! What a fun swap! I collect old sewing notions and I get so excited when I find old sewing baskets and tins filled to the brim with old pieces. It's so fun to dig through, just like treasure hunting. =]
