~A Sewing Bag ~

Hello, it's seems like it's been forever since I've shown anything I have completed.  I have been so involved with designing lately that I haven't had much time to stitch.  I have 2 new designs completed that I will soon be releasing.
I recently got a chance to stitch something I've wanted to for awhile.

This is my finish of the 1820 Sewing Bag.  Design by Stacy Nash Primitives.
It's stitched on 28ct linen that I've stained.

Inside there's a large pocket to keep everything you need when sewing.
I've stitched on an overdyed wool heart, trimmed out in a bit of light gold velvet, to hold your needles.  I also made a little card with few mother of pearl buttons that can slip inside the pocket.  I got the card design from my friend and TDIPT sister Jan, who has a shop on Etsy called Digital Antiques.  She has a ton of really great images.  This was really fun to make.
Well, off to do a bit more sewing.  I'm working on a pinkeep right now and hope to show you another finish in a few days.  Till then Happy Stitching.

Sewing bags and fashionable fittings is still amongst my very preferred belongings to do. The time asset is rather small, and the plunders are huge. Plus, at the end of the scheme, you have a new bag to carry about. To begin creation bags & cases or whatever really, you won’t need much more than a rudimentary sewing kit.
