A Whole Lot Of Stitching Goin' On

But not much finishing, I hate to say.

Isn't that always the case with me?

Here's a bit of what I've been up to.

Clockwise....

The unfinished alphabet piece is a newly
designed pattern that I just finished
charting.
  Did I mention I just love designing :) ?

These all need to be stained to give
them more of an old antique look.
Way too bright and crisp for my
liking :)

The middle top one is from BBD's new book
Honeysuckle Manor, stitched with GA
Garden Gate.  I love this new color.

Next is part of the Quaker Six Mains
and the bottom one is a La D Da.
I think it's called Letters and Leaves,
and was a freebie, but I'm not sure.

Well, we are having heavy rain storms
today, so it was a  good day to stay
in and stitch.

Hope your day is filled with what you
love to do too.

~Introducing The 2 New Patterns~

They're finally ready and available in my

I had a lot of fun designing and stitching
these.  {what do you think???}
I hope you like them.

I called this "Centennial Wreath"
as the year indicates.

It's stitched with DMC floss, but I
also experimented with hand dyed floss
I used a color called Thyme on
the wreath.  I love the subtle color
changes in the leaves.

This one is called "My Little Sampler"
I used my favorite motifs.
I love to stitch alphabets, flowers and
I'm also very fond of peacocks :)  So,
I put all of my favorites into this
sampler.

Thank you for taking time to visit and
wishing you all a lovely sunny Saturday.

Yes, Another Cupcake

Remember that red cupcake pinkeep I made (struggled with)
a few weeks ago? Well, I had stitched another one at the
same time in brown and every time I went into my sewing
studio, it was staring me down.  So, I tackled it and
yes, it gave me just as much trouble, but it's finished and
it won't be looking at me anymore:)

Also finished a little hanging sampler for my update on
TDIPT Mercantile last night.
It's a framed version of my Happy 4th pattern.
I just love these little scalloped frames.

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments
on my soon to be released patterns.  I appreciate
it very much and always love hearing from all
of you.

Pink Flower Finish

Over the weekend I did some finish work.  I attached
the Pink Flower by The Work Basket that I stitched up
to a fabric covered box.  I did this box a little more
primitive by leaving the fabric edges raw
and I like the simple and early look of it.

I also stitched this little
strawberry pot design for a good friend and
wonderful customer and finished it off
by attaching it to a fabric covered box too.

I lined the inside of the lid with a copy of an old
French Post Card.  I love the red stamp.
Hope my friend will too.

I've been very busy designing too and
hope to show you a preview of 2 new patterns.
They're almost stitched up, so I can't wait to
give you a sneak peek.

Smiles,
~Nan
