Strawberry Kick

I guess I'm addicted now. I liked making the last bunch of strawberries so much that I went on to make a large set. They are a little more primitive so I like them even better. This pattern is by Stacy Nash Primitives. She has some wonderful patterns. I'm a big fan. I put these in my Etsy store and they went fast. YEAH!!! Well, I thought I would post these pics on my blog for all to see. I love getting your comments too.

Hi Colleen, I will probably be making another set of these soon. I am in the middle of a few projects for Etsy right now but once made I can post them on this blog for sale. Or I can reserve them for you on Esty if you are already a member. Just drop me a line.

Those are just beautiful. I can see why they did not stay in your store too long. Do you fill all of them with walnut shells and if so, where do you get them? Take care!

Lei, Crushed walnut shells are used as a type of bird bedding or litter for their cages. It's very tiny almost like large granules of sand and great for filling small pinkeeps. I say small because it can get quite heavy if you use it on something large. It ends up being more like a doorstop than a pinkeep. LOL. You can get it at most large chain pet stores. A good name brand is Kaytee Walnut litter. If you try it, let me know how you like it.
