Happy Spring!
This is just too funny.....
I was reading Lori's blog
as usual, and she mentioned
that you could stand an egg on it's end
today because of the Earth's
rotational pull . She said it really
works. I had never heard of
this before and sooooo
I had to give it a try.
Ta Da.....
Lori is just full of fun facts :)

It's a beauty of a day here
in Philadelphia. I'm off
to run to the post office
and do a few errands.
Enjoy this first day of Spring!

Neato! I'll give it a try when I get home! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Nan,
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! I tried it here too after reading Lori's blog...nope..egg just rolled over and almost fell off the kitchen counter! LOL! I take that as a sign that we here in Wisconsin must be way off the balanced grid of normal!!
Happy first day of Spring!
Cathy G
Enjoy it dear xx
ReplyDeleteLOL, I was going to try it until I read Cathy G's comment and decided not to tempt fate! Happy Spring to you too Nan.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you. I was telling kids about this a long time ago, but couldn't remember what day of the year it was. We did it in high school so that was even a looonnnger time ago. I have to go show hubby:)

It helps to shake the yolk to the bottom of the egg, I try it for the first day of Fall and it works. I did it in the morning, but once I moved it, it would not stand, again. They stood a broom up on the first day of Fall where my hubby works...Thanks for sharing.

Dang. I missed it!
ReplyDeleteNow that is just cool!
ReplyDeleteAlways a day late and a dollar short, LOL! Thanks for the snap though, at least I got to see it...maybe I can try it next year.
ReplyDeleteLove the new header, Nan!
