Here's a little sawdust pinkeep I just stitched up.
The design was a freebie by Stitcherhood and
is one of my favorites. I think I stitch it every
year around this time.
I hand dyed the linen myself, so to speak.
More like un-dyed : )

I took some 32 ct black linen and bleached
it in the sink for about 30 seconds or so
and it comes out this great brownish color.
I love it for stitching Halloween motifs.
I think the orange pumpkin really pops.
This will be one of my new offerings in
my Etsy Shop.
Thanks for stopping by and have
a wonderful Fall day!

I love the way you did this cute little pillow. What a great idea to bleach out the black linen!!!! I hope I can get a copy of this freebie from the Stitcherhood. Thanks for sharing.

A very cute pumpkin indeed!
ReplyDeleteBleaching black linen...scary! How did you get it to come out looking so nice? Mine would have been all blotchy, I'm sure.
Oh Nan!
ReplyDeleteJust love him!
I will be on the lookout on your etsy!
