Yep, I've been having a little fun in the sewing studio.
It's so much fun to create and get some of these ideas out of my head and finished into actual handmades.
I'm a bit obsessed these days with velvet. I recently purchased an array of colors from
Blackberry Primitives. They are just luscious and so easy to work with. They
don't slip and slide when sewing them like other velvets I've used. I
don't why, but I not going to question it:)
I've been taking time to spend in the garden and I think all the flowers and birds have been an influence on my designing. I am also working on a pinkeep box. I stitched this band to go around the outside and I'll stuff some peach velvet for the pincushion top.
I hope to be back soon to show you the finish and also the other pieces I've stitched. They are all on the floor of my studio waiting to be made into prim pretties...:)
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Smiles, ~Nan
