A Stitcher's Finish

Wow, it's been awhile since I 

got to post a stitcher's finish,

but I'm so happy to show you

this one.  This beautiful pillow is

worked by Lynn.

She stitched Dutch Tulip,

one of my freebie designs.  

She's stitched this on 32ct 

Sassy's Sugared Coffee
using DMC floss 

and trimmed it in chenille.

Apparently it was a real keeper

because it was supposed to be 

a gift and she couldn't part with it.

I understand why.  I so love it!

Gray and Gloomy

Seems appropriate. 

I really have no motivation.  I am filled

with so much sadness over this past week's

senseless tragedy.  Such an overwhelming
feeling of disbelief that something
like this has really happened.
I think we are all feeling the same way.
My heart and prayers go out to all
those effected and everyone else 
that this has touched, 
which I know is far reaching.

Xmas freebie.

Stitched in GA Tin Bucket

and DMC 830.

A few mother of pearl buttons

and it's already to be made into

something special.

A bit big for an ornament, so it

may turn into a pinkeep or maybe 

a little cupboard hanger.

 I was so surprised to get 

this in the mail the other day.

 Yes, my dear sweet friend, 

Ivonne of The Crackling Crows 

gifted me

with another one of her wonderful

banners.  She thought it

appropriate since she says

I'm always creating.

I just love it!  Isn't it a beauty?
