Hopping into Day Two

I hope Spring is just around the corner.  When I look outside everything is frozen and the street is a sheet of ice.....so much for making a drive to the post office.

Back in Dec. I purchase an antique drysink for my Sewing Studio.  I seem to always find something I love when the gals and I make a trip to Lititz.  This was in my favorite shop....Days Gone By Creations.  Cindy, the owner, is so helpful and let me keep it there until I could get back with the truck to pick it up.
The hubby and I made the trip a few weekends back.  We got it in the house and upstairs to the studio.  I did some reorganizing and it's now all set up and in it's place.  I love the mustard stain that still lets the beautiful grain of the wood show through.  It holds all my boxes of floss and other supplies....Lots of room for finishing goodies too.

Today is day #2 of the Spring Thyme Blog Hop.

Plumcute Designs has a sweet springtime design and recipe for you.

Stay warm my friends, Smiles, Nan

Prim Sisters Club Reveal

I am super excited that I can finally show you the design and finish I've created for my first Prim Sisters Club kit, hosted by Country Sampler Spring Green.  I'm very please and happy to be designing for this wonderful shop.  I always try to make my club pieces special and I hope you think it is too.
Each kit includes the chart, overdyed linen and floss, 2 coordinating fabrics, the stained bone ring and detailed finishing instructions so you that can create this gathered pocket hanging and matching pyn pillow.

If you'd like to join the 2015 Prim Sisters Club, please give Jeanne and the girls at Country Sampler a call.  Linda from The Pinkeep will be next up in a few months with her design and we'd love to have you join the stitching fun.

Happy Stitching my friends!

Shamrock Finish

Today I finished my Lucky Shamrocks stitch into a little thread holder pocket.  I think I'll add a wire hanger.  This was a quick and easy finish. I love the flannel ticking and antique lace I found in my stash.
~~~~****~~~~
It was a good day to stay in a work on finishing.  Very cold and we have supposedly lots of snow headed our way.  I see a few stitching snow days on the horizon.
Have a great week all........and stay safe!
