Good Friends

and a new banner !
I was so surprised to get
this in the mail the other day.
 Yes, my dear sweet friend
Ivonne of The Crackling Crows
gifted me
with another one of her wonderful
banners.  She thought it
appropriate since she says
I'm always creating.
I just love it!  Isn't it a beauty?
If you don't own one of Ivonne's
awesome banners already,
you'll have to check out her blog!
I have it hanging in my studio
on an antique quilt rack
where I keep some of my
favorite ticking.

Ivonne, I am so thankful to call you
my friend.  You are so sweet
and such a joy to have in my life.
Girl, you know I love you,
right? : )
Thank you from the bottom of
my

And today I was so excited to be all
  caught up on things,
that I stitched some of
the morning away.
( My most favorite thing to do : )
I fell in love with this prim little design
when Lori at Notforgotten Farm
posted the freebie on her blo
a little while ago.
This is what I've stitched so far.
Hope to have it finished soon.
Happy Weekend all.

Hi Everyone.

The Ladies Prim Society.
It starts in January and is an exclusive club
sponsored by Pat Ryan and Ann Robbins
of Dyeing to Stitch.

It will feature designs from
Barb and Alma of Blackbird Designs
and myself, Threadwork Primitives.
I'm very excited and honored to
have been invited to participate
in this wonderful club.

The club is for member’s only and
complete kits
include finishing supplies
will ship every 8 to 10 weeks.
For a total of 5 kits.

This should be a year full

Releases....Not one but two

Yep. I'm totally in the Christmas
spirit now!
I've got the new designs all finished
and ready to show you the
reveal.

~*~ Merry Winter ~*~

This design seemed to work perfectly
on a box.   The chart comes with
complete instructions for finishing
it on a 5" paper mache box,
but I think it would look great as
a pinkeep too.  You know how I
love pinkeeps  : )
This was stitched on 35ct Sheep's Straw
linen by R & R Reproductions and
trimmed with their Cocoa chenille.
I thought this would be beautiful done
in silks, so it's stitched using Belle Soie
silks in Red Fox, Tortoise Shell,
Cinnamon Stick and Mudpie.
It's covered in coffee stained
homespun.

~*~ Victorian Christmas Pinkeeps ~*~
This chart has instructions for both
pinkeeps.  I love the combination of
them displayed together.
The cross stitched pinkeep is also done
on the 35ct Sheep's Straw linen using
WDW Aztec Red and GA Piney Woods.
Gosh, I just love the sweet little round
one.  Created with stained mini
checked homespun with a little jingle
bell on top.
I can't wait to display these this
year with our
other Christmas decorations.

Both of these new patterns are
now available in my Etsy Shop.

Thank you for taking the time
to visit and for all your wonderful
comments and encouragement.
Happy stitching!
