Two New Ones For You.

Oh my, I have been so busy sewing up lots
of custom orders, I love making pieces that I
know folks will cherish.
BUT...I am finally taking some blog time
to release my 2 new patterns that have been
staring at me for a few weeks now.
I do hope you like them.
I decided to do some framed pieces this time
around.  I don't do too much framing, but
I'm learning and I got myself my very own
point driver gun.  WOOHOO!
 So here they are.....

Huswif Finish

Yep, I finally have a finish to show you.
I know....seems like forever.
I stitched a little berry design and when
I was done it said to me, "make me a huswif".
My stitches usually talk to me and tell me
what they'd like to become and I usually
listen :D
It was of course, right and I am quite pleased
with how it finished up.
So pleased I made two.  One to keep
and one to sell on TDIPT next week on the
night of the 14th.  It amazes me
how fast my TDIPT postings come around.

We also had a Spring Swap over at a wonderful
group I belong to called Samplermakers.
We answered a small questionnaire and then
we were matched up with a swap partner.
My Samplermaker sister, Jill, got me
and here's a picture of the goodies
I got in the mail the other day.
I love old sewing notions.  Jill put together
a wonderful grouping along with some
R&R linen, which I love.
This was so much fun and I just want to
thank Jill for all my sweet notions.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
and a very Happy Easter.

And We Have a Winner.....

Good Morning All.  Time to announce a winner for my
3rd blogiversary!
For the giveaway drawing, I used a random number generator, but had to do this by the copy and paste method because I couldn't get the picture of the generator box to load.  Why, I just don't know.  And I'm usually pretty good with this kind of stuff.  Oh well.
Anyway, I won't keep you in suspense any longer.
The random generator picked # 59 which is

True Random Number Generator 59 Powered by RANDOM.OR

So Mary...Congratulations.  I will be emailing you to let you know that you have won and to find out which pattern kit you would like as your prize.

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments
and for your participation in my 1st giveaway.
I appreciate you all.
Hugs,

Just Released ~ Linen Sampler Pouch Pattern

Hi Folks....
I've been very busy designing and finally
finished this up!  I'm quite excited and happy
with how it turned out.  It was really a
work in process.
The pattern is for a very useful
Linen Sampler Pouch.
Stitched on 32ct Zweigart Light Mocha
linen using WDW Onyx floss.
Great for holding your journal.
If you're like me I keep one around
at all times to jot down ideas
and lists of things needed.
As I said, this was a work in process.
I don't know if your remember, but this
pattern started out like this back in May
(see post here)
and I decided to rework it into this hanging pouch.
I was unable to get any more of this striped
linen banding and was unsure of the finish.
I am so happy that I changed it and
have it hung in my sewing studio.
I hope you like the design change too.
Look for 2 more patterns to be released
very soon.

Happy Stitching and thanks
for all the comments on the freebie and
giveaway.  I'll be doing the random
draw on the 28th.  Good luck to all!
Hugs,

Having a little fun

Hi.  Thank you all for your
wonderful comments and I'm thrilled
to see so many participating in the
giveaway.  This is fun for me too.
I'm so happy the freebie is a hit
and I hope you enjoy stitching it as much
 as I did.
xxxxx
I thought I'd have a little fun today.
I had the camera out and snapped
some pics from around the house
while I was straightening up.
A few of my pride and joy
possessions.
 xxxx
And a finish to show you.
I have wanted to stitch this for such
a long time now and finally pulled the
chart out from my to do list.
It's by Chartmakers and is
called PA Stitcher's Sampler.
Since I was born, raised and live
in Pennsylvania, I kind of have a
fondness for things that were
made in PA.
I decided to put a tea stained muslin border
around it rather than have it framed.
It will make a cute table mat and I love
that there is so much blank space to
the sampler.  Gives me a place
to put small items on it and not
block the stitching.
Happy Sunday!

Spring Freebie and Giveaway

Hi friends.  I'm coming up on my
blogiversay and really wanted to
celebrate.  It will be 3 years on
March 28th.
I wanted to share this freebie
with you all that the
Gentle Art Sampler Thread
company was nice enough to take
and distribute at Market in
Nashville this past Feb.
I designed it around
their floss.
I hope you will enjoy stitching it
and would love to see your
finishes.
xxxxxxx
xxxxxxx
This is a pic of the one I stitched.
I haven't finished it into anything
yet, but I think it would make a
wonderful needlebook.  It's just
the perfect size.
xxxxxxx
Now for the GIVEAWAY!
I've never had a giveaway on my
blog before and thought it would
be fun and interesting.
As the prize I'd like to offer
the winner their choice of any
one of my charts and I will kit
it up to include the correct
count linen and floss.
How's that?  All you need to
do is leave a comment on this post
and I will randomly draw the winner on
my blogiversary, March 28th.
xxxxxxx
I'm excited and hope you are too.
Thank you for 3 wonderful years!
It's been full of wonder and much growth
and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
Prim Blessings,
~Nan
