Ahhhh Spring.....

Well, today was just
a beautiful day!
I got quite a bit of stitching
done, but also took some
time to sit outside on our
deck in the sunshine.
Boy, did it feel nice.
My friend Nancy, recently
reminded me to stop and
smell the flowers, so I took
her advice.
The Rhodie is in bloom, the
Forest Pansy tree and Sand Cherries
have buds and the Lilacs are dressed in
green.  Can't wait for them
to flower too.

I finished my ditty pouch.
This was made using my Autumn
Majesty design that is available
in my Etsy shop or at your LNS.
I really love how this turned out.
This has found a home right here in
our house,
but I hope to start making
another one in a few days
to add to my handmades section.
A very good evening to all
and happy stitching.

New Pattern!

Gosh, I'm so happy to finally share this new
release with you.  It's been a long time coming,
but here it is at last, "Cottage Charm Sampler".
As you may know, I just love
stitching the alphabet, so as you can
see it includes one of them :)
I am in love with these flowers too.  They
remind me of lolipops, don't you think?
The model has been stitched on 32 ct Zweigart
Vintage Heritage Linen using a combination
of WDW, GA, DMC and the red is a
Victorian Motto Sampler Thread
called Nan's Red.  Made especially for
me by Nancy.  It's a very cool red if I
do say so myself :)

In other news....I'm proud to say I just
signed with Hoffman Dist. Co.
so my patterns should now be available
at your local needlework shop.
I'm working on 2 other samplers that
I'm very excited about and hope to
have them available to you soon.

Thank you for taking time to visit with me
and as always, Happy Stitching!

Sunday Stitching

It's been quite chilly
and very Fall like in Philadelphia
these past few days.
Good stitching weather : )
Hubby and I watched the Eagles
game yesterday and I made sure
to have needle in hand for those
3 or so hours.
I am, of course, still in
Halloween/Fall mode, so
I put together this wool pumpkin
pincushion and trimmed it in
with some yummy cinnamon chenille
from
I'm very much drawn to the
chocolate browns,
rusts, and dark mustards at
this time of year.

I also began work on a new Fall inspired
alphabet sampler that I hope to
attach to a wooden hornbook.
It will be full of all the things
that are reminiscent of Autumn.
Got to get ready for TDIPT.
It comes around so fast and
I want to have a few things to
offer this month.

Hope you are enjoying some Fall
like weather where you are!
Happy Stitching.
