A Stitcher's Finish

As promised, I'm back to post and share the beautiful pictures I received from
a few stitching friends.
The first is from Elena.  Here is the link to her lovely blog, if you get a chance you should visit.  http://busyhandscraft.blogspot.com/
Elena stitched Merry Winter into a pincushion and split the design in order to have something on each side of the piece.
It is so pretty.  I love the choice of fabric and the pocket.  This was an exchange gift for her friend Eszter, who I'm sure was thrilled to receive this in the mail!
It's really lovely Elena and thank you for your sweet email.

Next my buddy, Terri of www.dixiesamplar.com stitched my Valentine freebie and had it made, by Faye I might add :) into the sweetest bag for her partner and best friend Lynn.  I just love it.  It is so adorable.
Thanks Terri.  I'm so happy you sent this so I could share it.  Love hearing from you!

It's always so wonderful to see the creativity out there from my fellow stitchers and always so inspiring.
Happy Stitching,

Releases....Not one but two

Yep. I'm totally in the Christmas
spirit now!
I've got the new designs all finished
and ready to show you the
reveal.

~*~ Merry Winter ~*~

This design seemed to work perfectly
on a box.   The chart comes with
complete instructions for finishing
it on a 5" paper mache box,
but I think it would look great as
a pinkeep too.  You know how I
love pinkeeps  : )
This was stitched on 35ct Sheep's Straw
linen by R & R Reproductions and
trimmed with their Cocoa chenille.
I thought this would be beautiful done
in silks, so it's stitched using Belle Soie
silks in Red Fox, Tortoise Shell,
Cinnamon Stick and Mudpie.
It's covered in coffee stained
homespun.

~*~ Victorian Christmas Pinkeeps ~*~
This chart has instructions for both
pinkeeps.  I love the combination of
them displayed together.
The cross stitched pinkeep is also done
on the 35ct Sheep's Straw linen using
WDW Aztec Red and GA Piney Woods.
Gosh, I just love the sweet little round
one.  Created with stained mini
checked homespun with a little jingle
bell on top.
I can't wait to display these this
year with our
other Christmas decorations.

Both of these new patterns are
now available in my Etsy Shop.

Thank you for taking the time
to visit and for all your wonderful
comments and encouragement.
Happy stitching!
